Can I turn Respondable off?

Yes.  To turn Respondable off, please do the following:

Click on the Boomerang icon in the top right corner of Gmail, then choose Email settings from the menu.

Uncheck Enable Respondable, then click OK to save your changes.

Respondable is now disabled and will no longer appear in your compose window.
