Step 2. Find Boomerang in your Inbox

Congratulations!

You've just installed Boomerang and are now among the millions of Boomerang users who have upgraded Gmail to spend more time following through and less time following up.

You might have installed Boomerang for a specific feature or need, but while many people have a favorite, go-to feature, everyone’s Inbox can benefit from a multi-pronged Boomerang approach.

Here's where you'll find the features you've just added to your Gmail experience:

Boomerang in your Inbox

Welcome to your new, super-powered Gmail Inbox! After installing Gmail, you'll notice a few new things in your Gmail window.

Boomerang settings & manage

In the upper right-hand corner of your Gmail, you'll now have a small Boomerang icon. This is where we'll always be in case you need any help! From this menu, you'll be able to access all your Boomerang settings, manage page to view and edit any pending messages or meeting invitations, and links to our knowledge base and tutorials in case you need to refer to them again.

Inbox Pause

On the left side of your Gmail window, just below the Gmail logo, you'll find a button labeled Pause Inbox. Inbox Pause stops new email from coming into your Inbox until you’re ready for it. Studies show that checking email only a few times a day reduces stress and boosts productivity. Learn more about Inbox Pause here.

Boomerang/Snooze

With Boomerang installed, you'll find a few ways to remind yourself about messages right from your Inbox. Use the Remind Me/Snooze feature to remind yourself about a message at any time you choose, with a note to yourself, or if you haven't heard from the other party within a certain amount of time. Learn more about Boomerang/Snooze here.

Select multiple messages in your Inbox and you'll see a Boomerang button that'll you can use to return these messages to your Inbox at a later time.

Hover over any message in your Inbox — along with the standard actions like Archive and Delete, you'll now also find a new Boomerang icon.

Boomerang when composing an email

The compose window is where you'll find Boomerang's most powerful features. At the bottom of each New Message window you'll see a new row with the following features:

1. Send Later

Schedule your message to send at a later time, or set up a Recurring Message. Learn more about Send Later or Recurring Messages.

2. Boomerang/Snooze
